It’s just over 2 weeks since Haiti was struck by the now infamous earthquake.

By January 15, the Haitian Interior Minister estimated 100,000 to 200,000 had died as a result of the quake. In total, the International Red Cross estimates 3 million people have been directly affected.

Horrific images have helped describe the magnitude of the trauma while blogs discuss recovery.

According to many, tourism should feature in Haiti’s masterplan so it too can experience the resurgence seen by Thailand, Sri Lanka and other nations hit by the Tsunami.

But right now the focus continues to be on saving lives.

Webcarhire urges people to continue to donate as teams of aid try desperately to repair the damage.
