This was at Le Clerc or Intermarche Supermarkets where the price was approx. $0.10/liter cheaper than other gas stations. Auto-route prices are generally higher still. Spain(Barcelona)was 1.12 euro/liter ($US5.22/gall) again at a 'discount' station. Tip 1: Look for 'long distance overnight truck-park' locations. There will generally be cheaper prices closeby. Tip 2: Always check if your Credit Card is accepted before filling up. US issued MasterCards (& others that do not have the embedded chip) are not accepted in many places especially at the 'automatic' pumps. Can be a bit of a problem late at night.
